More Than You Ever Wanted to Know About MidnightTrain...

I'm a 23-year-old barefoot gardener with a degree in photography and design. Basically, I'm the kind of person who hugs trees and watches far too many documentaries and reads far too many books and cries way too hard for homeless animals. It's also quite possible that I single-handedly keep Captain Morgan and Export A in business, but I think I do a pretty good job of balancing out my awful habits with my really, really good ones -- I'm a vegetarian turned vegan with rescued mutts and I play many sports, including hockey year-round. (Errm. Okay, maybe a rough and violent sport like hockey doesn't count as a good habit, but it makes me feel good lol). Anyway, I've been very, very happily unmarried to the love of my life for over six years now. I am a music and font whore and I admire minimalistic design.

So... I suppose the big question is: how exactly did I end up here? Haha well, I guess I've been semi-involved in the Twilight-fandom for about three years now. I started making banners and other graphics when I was in school and trying to practice the Photoshop techniques I was learning. The weekly challenges over at TwiFicPics.com really kickstarted my banner making and has been responsible for many of my creations. And although my interest in the Twilight franchise has faded over the past few years, I adore the people in this fandom and I adore writing about the characters and I really do love making banners featuring that fucking beautiful cast. Writing and making banners in the fandom is my outlet and it's something I've grown to be quite passionate about.

So other than photography, barefoot gardening, hugging trees, drinking, smoking, hockey, and banner making, I'm kind of addicted to crappy awesomely riveting CW shows such as TVD and Supernatural and it's definitely possible that graphics for these shows will also pop up on my blog from time to time.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me (I swear I'm one of those like eerily nice people). Aaaand other than that, thanks for taking the time to check out my work and learn a little more about me!!

xoxo
